South East Fire Protection LTD specialise in designing, supplying, installing, commissioning and maintaining fire detection systems to meet BS5839-1:2017 requirements.
Design
From a site survey we can identify and assess the structure and understand the clients scope and requirements including the category of the system, we can then design a system which meets current legislation and is best suited for your business.
Supply
All the systems supplied are open protocol technologies which can be maintained more cost effectively than closed or maintained protocols. All equipment supplied meets current British Standards and EN54 requirements.
This is the simplest and most cost-effective type of fire detection system ideally suited for small business premises.
A conventional system allows you to have multiple detectors and sounders, each of which can be divided into zones. Although four wire systems are traditional, newer two wire methods are available and can offer cost savings.
Conventional fire systems require two pairs of wires per zone, one for detection devices such as fire detectors, the other for alarm devices such as sounders. By using different voltage bands for quiescent and alarm states, Twin Wired Systems allow detection and alarm devices to be connected on the same pair of supply wires. A combination of innovative fire alarm technology that can reduce installation costs.
These systems are ideal for medium, large or higher risk premises, each individual device is given an address (ID) to provide clear indication of the position of a fire or fault activation.
This will speed up response times as well as assisting in the evacuation of the premises. As the system are engineer programmed with cause and effect, the systems can offer a vast array of control, phasing evacuation and connection to external equipment such as voice alarms, plant shutdown and life controls.
These systems offer the same functionality as the addressable systems but less or no cabling This reduces disruption during the installation. The technology has evolved making these systems a popular choice in the market.
Wireless Systems have the technical ability to integrate with wired addressable systems to create a bespoke/hybrid solution. Where preservation of the fabric and décor of a building is required Wireless is a great solution.
